Nat’l Rabindra Sangeet Fest begins at BSA

A three-day National Rabindra Sangeet Festival began at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Friday, reports BSA.

Awami League (AL) Presidium Member and Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Cultural Affairs Simin Hossain Rimi inaugurated the festival at the Jatiya Chitrashala auditorium of the academy. Bangladesh Rabindra Sangeet Artists Association has organised the event, which is open for all.

Shimin Hossain Rimi, in her speech, said “If every person acts sincerely, Bangladesh will be more beautiful...then it will be easier to build a Sonar Bangla.”

President of Bangladesh Rabindra Sangeet Shilpi Sansthan Sajed Akbar presided over the event while general secretary of the organisation Maqbul Hossain and adviser K M Harun spoke on occasion, among others.
