Comilla Victorians head coach Mohammad Salahuddin said on Saturday that they are not ready to point fingers at the umpires as they claimed that their hands and legs are tied.
Salahuddin was dejected by the fact that they were at the receiving end after the third umpire had given Jaker Ali out lbw that clearly pitched outside the leg stump.
The batsman asked for a review only to find that he was unfortunate as the third umpire also uphold the decision taken by the on-field umpire.
Salahuddin earlier took a swipe at the BCB for not having the Decision Review System and on Saturday he added that the Additional Decision Review System is creating more confusion than clearing it.
“It is better not to have the ADRS than to have it. What the umpires give we should go with it. This (Iftikhar’s delivery) pitched outside the leg stump.
“What I feel, one or two decisions can make a difference. Even in the opening game, a decision went against us so it’s better not to have such DRS,” said Salahuddin.
“At the start of the tournament, I said that a match would be lost by one or two decisions. If the decision is taken more accurately it will be better. In the naked eye, we are seeing it not out while the third umpire is giving it out.
“Because the game is going on, there is no point in protesting because it will not bear any fruit. Basically, we can’t do anything because our hands and legs are tied so what will happen is what is written in our destiny,” he added.
