CHATTOGRAM: A fire broke out at a shoe factory at Nupur Market in the city’s New Market area on Thursday afternoon.

Sources in the Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD) department said the fire broke out at the shoe factory on the sixth floor of the market at around 4:00pm.

They were trying to douse the blaze till filing the report at around 6:30pm, said the DD.
