Rohingya miscreants abduct 4 farmers from Teknaf

COX’S BAZAR: Four Bangladeshi farmers were reportedly abducted by a gang of Rohingya terrorists from Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar district early on Sunday.

The abducted farmers are Abdus Salam, son of Abul Hossain; Muhib Ullah, son of Raja Mia; Abdur Rahman, son of Gura Mia and Abdul Hakim, son of Raja Mia of Lechuaprang area under Hnila union.

Quoting locals Teknaf Police Station inspector (Investigation) Nasir Uddin Majumdar said about 15 to 20 Rohingya terrorists picked them up at gunpoint from Lechuaprang area at dawn when they were sleeping at a temporary shed.

On information, a team of the police station, led by its officer in-charge Abdul Halim, rushed to the spot. They began conducting drive in the hilly area.

However, police yet to receive any written complaint in this regard, the inspector added.

Earlier, 12 more farmers were abducted by the terrorists in three phase who were relived with ransom.
