‘Black War’ gets uncut censor certificate

The much-awaited film ‘Black War’, part 2 of the film ‘Mission Extreme’, has got uncut censor certificate.

Members of Bangladesh Film Censor Board watched the film on January 1 and issued certificate on Wednesday. The censor board members also praised the cast and crew of the movie.

About the censor certificate, director and producer of the movie, Sunny Sanwar said, “We are very happy that our film ‘Black War’ has got uncut censor certificate. Now, there is no bar to releasing the movie in theatre on January 13. I was under tremendous pressure for the last few days because the movie contains a sensitive story. Finally, we got censor certificate.”

‘Black War’ is a police action thriller movie. The story and screenplay have been written by Superintendent of Police Sunny Sanwar. He and Faisal Ahmed co-directed the film.

Actors Arifin Shuvoo, Taskin Rahman, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Sadia Nabila, Sumit Sengupta, Raisul Islam Asad, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shatabdi Wadud, Maznun Mizan, Sudip Biswas Deep, Rahed Mamun Apu, Iresh Zaker and others will be seen acting in the film.

Under the banner of Cop Creation, the film will be released in theatre across the country on January 13. The first episode of ‘Mission Extreme’ was released in theatre simultaneously in Bangladesh and in many other countries of the world on December 3 in 2021.
