Bashundhara LP Gas gets Best Brand Award for third time in a row

For the third consecutive time, Bashundhara LP Gas received prestigious 'Best Brand Award' for maintaining the highest standards in the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sector.

The award was handed over at a ceremony organised by Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF) and NielsenIQ, a US-based data analytic agency, at a city hotel on Saturday.

Bashundhara Group vice-chairman Shafiat Sobhan congratulated customers, distributors, dealers, officials, and well-wishers for Bashundhara LPG's achievements.

At a gala ceremony, Bashundhara Group sector-A brand and marketing department chief operating officer MM Jasim Uddin and Bashundhara LPG chief financial officer Mahbub Alam jointly received the award from Benchmark Limited managing director Ashraf Kaiser.

Bashundhara LPG head of human resource Saad Tanvir and deputy general manager Maksud Alam were also present on the occasion.

Bashundhara LPG received the international Super Brand awards twice while UK-based Global Economics and Business Tabloid named the brand as the ‘Best LPG company’.

BBF held the 14th edition of the Best Brand Award to recognise the most loved brands in Bangladesh. The award celebrates the success of brands that have achieved success through hard work and dedication. In its 14th edition, 38 distinct categories of the most loved brands were recognised.

During her welcome remarks, BBF director Nazia Andaleeb Preema emphasized the importance of sustainability.

 “Our local brands need to play a critical and profound role in achieving national goals. The country is counting on us with utmost faith. We need to be pioneers at the crossroads for collective development," she said.

Asif SM Mahmud, associate director at Nielsen IQ, presented a detailed explanation of the Best Brand Award 2022 Methodology.

The initiative also recognised 15 overall top brands in the country.

Best Brand Award since its inception has been determined based on a global model (Winning BrandsTM) offered by the partner organisation Nielsen IQ. This year, the process was done through a direct consumer survey of 10,000 customers across the country, which included self-administrated reviews.
