Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed visited the winter training area in Baroiyarhat of Chattogram, under the jurisdiction of 24th Infantry Division, on Wednesday.
Like every year, all formations of the Bangladesh Army have been deployed for winter training in their respective responsible areas.
Besides, the army chief distributed winter clothes among 500 poor and needy families in the area.
General Officer Commanding (GOC) and Area Commander Chattogram Area Major General Mizanur Rahman Shamim, senior military officers, JCO and other rank army members of Army Headquarters and Chattogram Area, media persons and local dignitaries were present.
