Two motorbikes were set on fire after a chase and counter-chase between BNP and Awami League activists in the capital's Mughda area on Saturday.

A Jubo League leader was injured in this incident. He was admitted to Mugda General Hospital.

He was injured in the legs, head, and back. He claimed that the motorcycle that was set on fire belonged to him.

"We have come to know that 20–25 BCL activists came on motorcycles to the Mughda area, adjacent to the Golapbagh BNP rally. Later, a chase and counter-chase took place there. We found two motorcycles burned there," said Motijheel Division Deputy Commissioner of Police Hayatul Islam Khan.
