India A skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran struck a brilliant unbeaten hundred to help his side take a 72-run lead over their Bangladeshi counterparts at the end of the second day’s play of the second unofficial Test at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Abhimanyu made 144 off 231 balls not out while Cheteshwar Pujara (52) and Srikar Bharat (77) also scored fifties as India A finished the second day at 324-5 in their first innings after they resumed their overnight score of 11-0.
Earlier, Shahadat Hossain Dipu and Jaker Ali struck fifties before Bangladesh A were bowled out for 252 runs in their first innings on the opening day of the four-day contest.
The first unofficial Test ended in a stalemate in Cox’s Bazar.
