Mother of journo Anjan dies

Shrimoti Maya Rani Das, mother of Executive Editor of Alokito Bangladesh Anjan Das, died of old age complications at her son’s residence in the capital on Sunday. She was at 79.

She was cremated at Shri Shri Bodeshwar Crematorium at Rajarbagh.

She left behind four sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
