The number of daily dengue patients has declined slightly across the country for last few days but there is no let up of casualty in the deadly disease.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said 426 dengue patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours until Wednesday morning while four deaths were reported.
The DGHS data said a total of 1,803 dengue patients are now undergoing treatment across the country. Of them, 1,048 patients are receiving treatment in Dhaka city.
It said around 19,334 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals and at least 113 died in November.
The DGHS report further said a total of 57,358 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals and at least 254 died this year.
Of the total cases, 36,507 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals in the Dhaka city and the rest of the patients were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka.
