Guba Books, known for publishing high quality children’s books in Bangla and English, is launching six new titles at a fun-filled event in Dhaka.
The event called “Stories in the Park” is taking place at Justice Shahabuddin Park in Gulshan 2 on December 3, said a press release. Celebrations include musical sessions, book reading and lots of fun.
The other two books feature the beauty and vibrancy of Bangladesh depicted through wonderful storytelling and gorgeous artwork.
“Where are the Chonchols?” is a search-and-find book featuring twelve unique festivals of Bangladesh such as Pahela Baishakh, Nouka Baich and Shakrain. On the other hand, “Sun Moon Secret” has a rural Bangladeshi setting and is about two sisters who possess special powers.
