ICAB, CAANZ sign MoU on Int’l Pathway Programme

President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) Md. Shahadat Hossain and CA Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) President Kate Boorer have signed and exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on International Pathway Programme.

They signed and exchanged the MoU at an event at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, India on Friday during the World of Congress of Accountants, reports BSS.

Both the leaders signed the International Pathway Program (IPP) through which ICAB member can be the member of CAANZ without any examination, said a press release in Dhaka on Saturday.

It is noted that the MOU was first signed in 2021 through a virtual platform. ICAB vice-presidents NKA Mobin, Sidhartha Barua, Fouzia Haque, its council member and former president Md. Humayun Kabir, council members Gopal Chandra Ghosh, Md. Moniruzzaman, ICAB former president Parveen Mahmud and chief operating officer Mahbub Ahmed Siddique were present at the MoU signing and handover ceremony.
