WaterAid has recently announced the third edition of its media fellowship to encourage young journalists and media professionals to delve into matters surrounding citywide inclusive sanitation (CWIS), climate change and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).

The “Young Media Fellowship 2022-23” aims to exchange ideas, raise awareness and bring young minds to closer to critical issues on water, sanitation, and hygiene challenges and solutions at local and national level, said a press release.

The fellowship comes with a grant of Tk 60,000. A total of 10 fellows aged between 18 to 35 would be eligible to join the programme through applications. All participants will also be rewarded with a certificate of participation at the end of the fellowship.

Bhorer Kagoj Editor Shyamal Dutta, WaterAid Country Director Hasin Jahan, and Bangla Tribune Special Correspondent Udisa Islam will be the mentors to the competent fellows.
