ICSB team meets BSEC chairman

The newly-elected council members of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) led by its President Mohammad Asad Ullah called on Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Chairman, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) at his office at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar on Sunday.

On behalf of the council, the President introduced the newly-elected Office Bearers and Council Members to the Chairman and apprised him of various activities that ICSB undertook for professional development as well as its future plans, said a press release.

Mohammad Asad Ullah mentioned and asked for the representation of ICSB members in the Securities Exchange Commission’s Advisory Committee and in the Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange’s Board.

The BSEC Chairman gave a patient hearing to the delegation and appreciated the role of ICSB in promoting professionalism and development of the company secretaries profession in the country.

The Council Members thanked the BSEC Chairman for giving his valuable time and hoped that his continued support and guidance will help the Institute to move forward to achieve its objectives.
