Slum children of rickshaw-pullers spent a wonderful day, enjoying different aspects of science, thanks to the National Museum of Science and Technology (NMST) authority.

A total of 39 kids of the capital’s Rupnagar area were invited to NMST on Tuesday to watch mobile science exhibition, movie bus, VR, titanic zone and aviation gallery of the museum free of cost.

Dr Anupam Hossain, chief organiser of the School of Life, an educational institution for the underprivileged children, brought them to the NMST.

While exploring the museum, the disadvantaged children became overwhelmed with emotion. They were provided with food and NMST souvenirs.

NMST Director General Muhammad Munir Chowdhury, Dr Anupam Hossain and Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) Director Dr Monzur Hossain handed over the gift items to the children.
