In order to improve the quality of firing and professional skills of all levels of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) soldiers, ‘BGB Firing Competition-2022’ was held at the Small Arms Firing Range of BGB Sector Headquarters in Cumilla.

BGB Director General Major General Shakil Ahmed attended as the chief guest and enjoyed the final phase of the competition. Later, he distributed prizes among the champion and runner-up teams.

The three-day competition started on October 30 under the overall supervision of BGB North-East Region, Sarail and under the management of Cumilla Sector.

A total of 84 contestants from 7 teams of five regions and two individual sectors of BGB participated in the event.

In this firing competition, Chattogram region became champion and Sarail region runner up.

Senior officials of BGB headquarters, Sarail Region, Cumilla Sector and Battalion, BGB members of all levels and firing competitors from different regions and sectors were present on the occasion.
