CHAPAINAWABGANJ: As part of the anti-crime drives members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained four juveniles from the town early Friday allegedly for their involvement in different crimes like theft and snatchers, reports BSS.
The detainees were identified as Md Abdul Ali Abdullah, 30, of PTI Balubagan, Md Akash, 20, of Clubmore both in Chapainawabganj town, Md Saimon Ali Amit, 20, of Dewanjaigir in Shibganj upazila and Md Kawsar Ali, 20, of Arambag in Chapainawabganj town.
An operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a special drive in Arambag area in the town at around 12:20 am and held them. RAB also recovered sharp weapons like knife, cutter and hook that were being used in snatching, RAB sources added.
Later, RAB handed them over to the police of Chapainawabganj sadar model thana with a case.
