Oculin Tech trains girls in coding

Oculin Tech has started training programme for girls in software coding in association with development organisation Shakti Foundation.

The training programme under ‘Coding for Girls’ project will be run in Lalpur Nazrul Islam High School in Cumilla and Srinivasdi primary school in Narayangonj, said a news release on Sunday.

Girls will be trained in basic computer operating, graphic designing and web development.

Titas Upazila Nirbahi Officer ATM Morshed was chief guest at inauguration ceremony at Lalpur High School. Secondary Education Officer Anwara Chowdhury and Lalpur High School head teacher Bashir Ullah were special guests on the occasion. Retired Lieutenant General Moinul Islam presided over the meeting.

Shakti foundation Executive Director Humaira Islam and Oculin Tech Head of Human Resource Department Yasmin Akhtar were also present on the occasion.
