Purnima starrer ‘Ahare Jibon’ goes on floor Sunday

Dilara Hanif Purnima is one of the most popular film actresses of the country. The National Film Award-winning artiste, who has earned the hearts of millions with his fabulous performance, will stand before camera on Sunday for her new film ‘Ahare Jiban’. 

The shooting of the film will be held at different locations of Dhaka for some consecutive days. Purnima is returning to acting after a long hiatus with the film ‘Ahare Jiban’.      

Noted director Chatku Ahmed is directing the govt-funded movie. Chatku Ahmed himself has written the script of the film. 

Besides Purnima, actors Ferdous Ahmed, Shuchorita, Misha Sawdagor and Shahnoor will play prominent roles in the movie.  

Purnima will play the role of Dola in ‘Ahare Jibon’. The actress said that this is the first time she is acting in a government-funded movie.  

About the film, Purnima said, “The story of the film is very nice. Besides, Chatku bhai is directing the movie. Chatku bhai is a renowned director in our film industry. He wanted that I will play the role of Dola in his new movie. Above all it is a government-funded movie. That’s why I agreed to work in the movie.”

“I will play opposite my friend Ferdous Ahmed in the film. In the meantime, Shuchorita madam has joined the cast. I hope ‘Ahare Jibon’ will be a good movie,” she added.

‘Ahare Jibon’ has received a grant of Taka 60 lakh. Taju Kamrul is the associate director of the film.

On the work front, Purnima starrer movies ‘Gangchil’ and ‘Jaam’ are waiting for their release dates. Actors Ferdous Ahmed and Arefin Shuvoo will be seen opposite the actress in the movies respectively.

 On the other hand, Chatku-directed the last film ‘Protibadi Master’. ‘Ahare Jibon’ is also the first government-granted film of the directed.
