FBCCI chief honoured
FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin receiving prestigious "Honor" from New York State Assembly at an event named Celebrating 50 Years of US-Bangladesh Relations held in New York, USA on Saturday.

Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI)  President Md. Jashim Uddin received prestigious "Honor" from New York State Assembly, the lower chamber of the New York State Legislature.

Md. Jashim Uddin is the very first Bangladeshi business leader, honoured by the New York State Assembly for "his exemplary service to career, community and families through his endless dedication for the betterment of general society," said a press release.

Besides, this was for accomplishments in this unwavering dedication for the Bangladeshi people.

The FBCCI president received the honour at an event named Celebrating 50 Years of US-Bangladesh Relations held on Saturday in New York, USA.

Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest.

Md. Jashim Uddin said that the event will open the doors for taking the Bangladesh-US relationship to a newer height.  He urged the third and fourth generation Bangladeshis living in the US to help Bangladesh's businesses enter the mainstream market of the USA.

Dr. Mohammad Monirul Islam, Consul General of Bangladesh in New York, Dr. Atiur Rahman, former Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Soma Syed, Judge, NYC Court also attended the event.
