‘Operation Sundarbans’ gets huge response

Acclaimed director Dipankar Dipon’s latest venture ‘Operation Sundarbans’ is getting huge positive response from the audience after it was released on Friday.

Produced by RAB Welfare Cooperative Society Limited, the film is now being screened at 35 halls, including all branches of Star Cineplex, Jamuna Blockbuster, CineScope Narayanganj, Lion Cinemas, Shyamoli and Modhumita cinema halls.

The audience are happy with artistry of the movie in terms of making, story, acting, background and presentation.

Many viewers said that ‘Operation Sundarbans’ is much better than many Hollywood action films. Appreciating the film, they said the audience want to watch more action thriller movies like ‘Operation Sundarbans’.

They also mentioned that such a good film can uphold Bangladesh in the global arena. 

About the movie,  director Dipankar Dipon said, “This is an amazing story with the involvement of our 1,300 cast and crew members, narrating the saga of the mission against the pirates and the aftermath of their post-pirate life as well as the livelihood of the people living around the Sundarbans. We request everyone to watch this dynamic presentation on the big screen.”

‘Operation Sundarbans’ is a wildlife action thriller movie. The film has been co-written and directed by Dipankar Dipon. Nazim-ud-Doula and Dipon have written the screenplay.

The plot of the movie is based on real operations of RAB during surrender of robbers of Sundarbans as well as the struggle of Sundarbans’ natives.

Actors Siam Ahmed, Ziaul Roshan, Riaz, Taskeen Rahman, Shatabdi Wadud, Nusraat Faria  Darshana Banik, Raisul Islam Asad, Manoj Kumar Pramanik, debutant Samina Bashar and others have played roles in the film.
