Bangladesh Legends suffer second defeat

Bangladesh Legends conceded their second consecutive defeat in the ongoing Road Safety World Series when they lost to New Zealand Legends by eight wickets at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Saturday.

Sent into bat first, Bangladesh Legends made 98-3 in their stipulated 11 overs in a rain-marred match with Dhiman Ghosh and Alok Kapali making unbeaten 41 and 37 runs respectively.

Ross Taylor and Dean Brownlie then scored unbeaten 30 and 31 runs respectively as New Zealand Legends reached 99-2 in 9.3 overs to complete their first win in the tournament.

Bangladesh Legends will face Australia Legends at the same venue today.
