Bangladesh envoy meets Indian President
Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Muhammad Imran presents a book on 7th March speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to Indian President Droupadi Murmu at the latter’s office at Rashtrapati Bhaban on Tuesday.

Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Muhammad Imran paid a farewell courtesy call on Indian President Droupadi Murmu at the latter’s office at Rashtrapati Bhaban on Tuesday.

Indian President welcomed the High Commissioner at her Office.

During the call on, the Bangladesh High Commissioner has conveyed greetings and warm regards of the President and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

Emphasising the historic bondage, the Indian President hoped that the relations would further be strengthened in the coming days based on goodwill, trust, understanding and mutual respect.

They discussed various issues of bilateral cooperation, including the recent successful visit of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to India, which has further consolidated the existing relationships between the two neighbouring countries.

The outgoing envoy thanked the government and people of India for their all-out support during his tour of duty.

He also invited the dignitary to pay a visit to Bangladesh.
