Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Thursday asked officials of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) to continue their roles in protecting the interest of consumers.
"DNCRP is working relentlessly in protecting the interest of consumers, supply of essential products, marketing and keeping product prices stable. I am thanking the officials for their tireless works," he said. The minister said this while presiding over the 24th meeting of the National Consumer Rights Protection Parishad at a hotel in the city, reports BSS. Senior Secretary of the Commerce Ministry Tapan Kanti Ghosh and President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Jashim Uddin, among others, were present on the occasion.
