The Chevening South Asia Journalism Fellowship (SAJP) online application window is now open to receive applications for the 2022-23.

According to the British High Commission in Dhaka on Tuesday, the SAJP is aimed at mid-career journalists from South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.

Only online applications will be accepted by October 12, 2022.

The applicants must be a citizen of Bangladesh and must not hold British nationality. They must have at least seven years’ work experience and be a mid-career journalist working in the political or economic sectors.

Fellows will participate in eight intensive weeks of lectures, visits, and discussions that introduce them to key UK academics, media, and political figures in the field.
