The health condition of Prof Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora, Additional Director General (Planning and Development) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), who is now undergoing treatment in National University Hospital in Singapore, has improved slightly.

Flora’s physician Dr Gao said to her husband, “Prof Dr Flora has been stable overnight. We have stopped the paralysis for her and she is awake.

“Her abdominal pressure is also a lot better and it's now 14. Her blood test shows that the pancreatitis is still active but she has not had fever. The dialysis we will be slowing it down as we have taken out quite a lot of fluid from her body in the last 2 days. We’ll continue to monitor her closely.”

Flora has been receiving treatment in the hospital for the last 10-12 days. She was diagnosed with acute cholangitis, a pancreatic disease.

After undergoing Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) she developed various complications.
