Bashundhara Eye Hospital and Research Institute provided free medical treatment to around 300 poor and helpless patients in Kasba of Brahmanbaria on Tuesday.
At a medical camp set up by Mandar Samity Dhaka at Ma Amena Gofur Charitable Hospital in Mandarpur, the hospital provided medical and diagnostic supports.
Mandar Samity Dhaka adviser MA Kayum Sarkar, Shahebabad Degree College Principal Md Humayun Kabir, Badoir Union Parishad Chairman Shipon Ahmed Bhuiyan and Vision Care HR Assistant Manager Md Roisuddin, among others, were present.
Out of the 300 patients examined, 60 have been selected for eye surgery which will be performed at the hospital in Bashundhara Residential Area of the capital for free.
A team of the hospital led by senior eye specialist Dr Majumder Golam Rabbi visited Kasba to conduct the eye camp.
