Bangladesh national football team will start their month-long residential camp for the upcoming FIFA window on August 26 at the Bangladesh Police Football Club’s home venue APBN ground in Uttara.

The team is also likely to do some sessions at the Bashundhara Kings Arena of Bashundhara Sports Complex which has a better pitch and facilities, Bangladesh Football Federation general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag disclosed the details to the reporters on Saturday.

“Initially our plan was to do the camp at Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club’s ground or BUET ground but our coaching staff chose the Bangladesh Police Football Club’s home venue APBN ground in Uttara due to the other facilities including swimming pool and gym. There are also some good standards of hotels surrounding the ground. If the team stay there, they could avoid traffic during the trip,” Shohag said.

The national team are going to play two FIFA Tier-1 international matches against Cambodia and Nepal in the next FIFA window on September 22 and 27 respectively.
