The South Asian Football Federation again rescheduled the upcoming sixth edition of its Women’s Championship following a request from All India Football Federation.

The competition was originally expected to be held on August 12-24 but the fixture was rescheduled to August 29 following a request from All Nepal Football Association as the hosts got a new committee.

The fixture was rescheduled again to September 6 following a request from All India Football Federation as their players will be busy with an AFC competition during the same time.

SAFF General Secretary Anwarul Haq Helal confirmed it to the reporters on Monday.

Helal also informed that Pakistan will take part in the competition as they completed their suspension from FIFA-AFC in June.
