Haters trying to ruin our success: Barsha

Ananta Jalil and Barsha starrer movie ‘Din: The Day’ is being screened at 107 cinemas across

the country.

The film, which was released on Eid-day, has been facing criticism regarding its BDT 100 crore budget. However, the actress Barsha said that haters are trying to ruin their success by personally attacking them on social media.

She made the remark while visiting Madhumita Hall in the capital on Tuesday. Barsha said, “Some people are deliberately attacking us and spreading negativity on social media. They are trying to ruin our success by personally attacking us. I’am really shocked that why people can’t just appreciate good things.” 

 “We are shooting for our next film ‘Netri: The leader’. But seeing the current situation, we might not complete this movie. ‘Din: The Day’ might be our last film,” she added.

‘Din: The Day’ is a joint production of Bangladesh and Iran.   Iranian director Murtuza Atash Zamzam has directed the movie. Along with Ananta Jalil and Barsha, actors from Iran and Lebanon are featured in this film.

Apart from Bangladesh, the film has also been shot in Iran, Afghanistan and Turkey.

Afiea Nusrat Barsha starting her career as a model, she made her feature film debut in Iftakar Chowdhury’s 2010 film ‘Khoj: The Search’ with another newcomer Ananta Jalil. She had roles in the films ‘Khoj: The Search’, ‘Hridoy Bhanga Dheu’ and ‘Most Welcome’.
