Shooters leave for South Korea to play World Cup

An 11-member Bangladesh shooting team left Dhaka for South Korea on Wednesday to participate in the ISSF World Cup, scheduled to be held on July 9-21 in the Korean city Changwon.

“Shooters are really excited as they will get a chance to use their new rifles in the competition. We will return on July 19,” the BSSF Executive Committee Member and National Camp Commander Mushtaq Waise told The Daily Sun before leaving Dhaka.

Bangladesh squad: Rabbi Hasan Munna, Yusuf Ali, Robiul Islam, Tamzid Bin Alam (men’s rifle), Sajeda Haque, Nafisa Tabasshum Natasha, Kamrun Nahar Koli (women’s rifle), Shakil Ahmed (men’s pistol), Ardina Ferdous Akhi (women’s pistol), Mohammad Zaer Rezaei (head coach) and Mushtaq Waise (team manager).
