BFF gets 20-acre land to set up ‘Center of Excellence’

The Bangladesh Football Federation received a 20-acre land from the ministry of environment and forest to set up its technical center, also known as Center of Excellence, at the Khuniyapalang Mouza in Ramu upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Monday.

BFF Vice-president and Development Committee Chairman Ataur Rahman Bhuyan Manik, Cox’s Bazar MP Shaimum Sarwar Kamal, Cox’s Bazar DC Md Mamunur Rashid, FIFA Regional Office Development Manager Prince Rufus and other distinguished personalities were present on the occasion.

FIFA, the governing body of world football, will provide a fund of USD 3 to 3.5 million and other technical support to the BFF to set up the technical center.
