Bangladesh national football team slipped down to 192nd place from 188th as they lost 20.80 points in the latest world rankings published by the governing body of world football FIFA on Thursday.
The men in red and green were 186th earlier this year but soon they slipped down to 188th after conceding a 0-2 goal defeat to the Maldives and playing a goalless draw against Mongolia during the FIFA window in March.
However, Brazil ranked top while Belgium are in the second spot and Argentina stand third in the latest rankings.
Among others, France ranked fourth, England fifth, Spain sixth, Italy seventh, Netherlands eighth, Portugal ninth, Denmark tenth and Germany eleventh.
Among the South Asian nations, India ranked 104th, the Maldives 156th, Nepal 176th, Bhutan 186th, Pakistan 196th and Sri Lanka 207th.
