‘National Fruit Fair’ extended by two days

The ongoing three-day ‘National Fruit Fair-2022’ has been extended by two more days due to inclement weather.

Following extension of the time period, the last day of the fair is Monday, a press release said on Saturday, reports BSS.

With the theme ‘Year-long Fruit Cultivation brings both Money and Nutrition,’ the fair is organised by the Agriculture Ministry.

Agriculture Minister Md Abdur Razzaque inaugurated the fair at the city’s Krishibid Institution on Thursday.

A total of 67 government and private organisations are participating in the fair.

Visitors are able to learn different techniques of fruit cultivations. They can purchase different varieties of fresh and safe fruits without chemical at the fair.

National Fruit Fair will play a positive role for the new generation by giving them a better idea about the various seasonal fruits that are produced in the country.
