Four people who allegedly attacked and hurled abuse at four women teachers of a school in Kishoreganj were arrested in Karimganj of Kishoreganj and Gulistan in the capital on Tuesday night.

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) nabbed the four -- Sourav Mia alias Babu, 17, Sohan alias Hira, 17, Simanto, 17, and Al Amin alias Sohel alias VIP Rana alias Prince Rana, 22. Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director (legal and media wing) of the elite force, disclosed the information to reporters at RAB Media Centre in Kawran Bazar of the capital on Wednesday.

On June 12, some teenagers and youths entered Jangalbari High School at Karimganj while students were taking examinations.

As the outsiders started taking photos of girl students, some women teachers asked them to leave the school.

The RAB officer said the four teachers were returning to their houses by rickshaw when school finished.

When the rickshaws reached Taliapara area, they (outsiders) intercepted it and humiliated them.

Moin said that Prince Rana formed a teenage gang which often teased school and college girls.

If any girl protested against it, they threatened them with throwing acid, said the director of the elite force.
