This year, some 254 people from Bangladesh are going to perform the holy Hajj at the expenses of the state, as per the list revealed by the government.

They are being sent to perform Hajj with the benefit of the package price mentioned in package 2 announced by the government (excluding plane fare).

Failure to submit the pay-order will result in the suspension of their visa process.

Their potential flights will be operated from July 7 onwards, added the notification.

Pilgrims are required to obtain the required health check-up and vaccine and get an e-health certificate. Their passports must be valid till January 4, 2023.

The government officials and employees who are on the list will receive their salaries and allowances in the local currency of Bangladesh from their respective workplaces during their stay in Saudi Arabia, the circular mentioned.

Each pilgrim performing Hajj at the expense of the state will have to take approximately 810 (eight hundred and ten) Saudi Riyals separately for sacrificing animals.
