The team included officials from the Public University Division of UGC.  Pro-Vice-Chancellor of BSMRAAU Air Commodore Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the project.

It may be mentioned BSMRAAU, the country's first public university for aviation and aerospace studies and research, started its academic activities from its Dhaka campus in 2020.

However, the permanent campus of BSMRAAU will be at Lalmonirhat – the future aviation city of Bangladesh.
