Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) has asked the Sitakunda fire-affected people to contact the organisation for emergency help, including blood donation.
The Chattogram unit of the BDRCS is now engaged in blood donation for the injured people.
The volunteer organisation has also set up a free medical camp to provide treatment for the injured on the spot.
Some 200 volunteers of the BDRCS Chattogram unit along with fire fighters were involved in extinguishing the fire. At the same time, a number of volunteers worked to recover bodies from the spot.
