Mohammedan Sporting Club’s English head coach Sean Lane and his compatriot assistant coach James McAloon have resigned from their posts in the middle of the Bangladesh Premier League football on Sunday.

The coaches officially made this announcement on this day but didn’t disclose the reason behind this sudden decision. Lane told the reporters that the poor planning and the board’s interference to form the team were the main reasons for this decision.

“I spent an amazing four years with the club..I’m feeling proud to become a part of it,” Lane said.

However, the club didn’t give any official statement yet. The 58-year-old English coach had been working with the traditional black and white since the season 2019-20. Under his coach, the club had been improving gradually.

The club are in sixth with 22 points from 5 wins, 7 draws and 3 defeats in the ongoing 12-team BPL.
