Bangladesh HC in KL protests propaganda on social media

Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur has vehemently protested a false publicity on social media intending to tarnish the image of the Bangladesh government and the High Commission.

It has been seen that an unscrupulous group of people is conducting a propaganda campaign containing a three-year old photo of a dead expatriate who died of a heart attack while sitting in a car on his way to the embassy’s passport office in Kuala Lumpur’s Ampang, according to a press release issued by the Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.

Talking to his relatives, it was confirmed that he was suffering from illness for long, reads the press release.

But propagandists, according to the high commission, have been claiming that the expatriate Bangladeshi died recently inside the Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur due to non-cooperation of the embassy.

The Bangladesh High Commission has drawn the attention of all Bangladeshi nationals at home and abroad to remain confident about the service of the embassy without being confused by such false publicity.

The high commission has reaffirmed its commitment to always offer improved service to Bangladeshi nationals.
