Shironamhin to perform in India for the first time

Popular Bangladeshi rock band Shironamhin will perform in a concert in India for the first time. The concert will be held at Jadavpur University, Kolkata tomorrow.

 Shironamhin’s bassist and founder member Ziaur Rahman said, “We are going to perform in a concert in India for the first time after the band’s inception. This is undoubtedly a great opportunity for us and the Indian audience.”

 The nine-day cultural fest, which began on May 21, will feature two renowned Bangladeshi bands, Joler Gaan and Shironamhin. Joler Gaan will perform today while Shironahmin will perform on the concluding day of the show.

The band will leave for India on the day of the performance and return to Dhaka on May 31.

Recently, Shironamhin released their new song ‘Perfume’, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the band. The lyrics and music composition of the song are done by Ziaur Rahman.
