Zero death reported

Zero coronavirus death has been reported in the country again after a day gap as the country’s corona virus situation remains still under control for around three months.

According to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), no Covid-19 patient died and 34 infection cases were recorded in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning.

On Monday, two corona infected patients died and 31 cases reported in the country. On Sunday, the country logged zero death from Covid with 29 infections. On Saturday the country saw first death from the virus after a month.

Zero corona death was reported for 30 days in a row till Saturday as one corona infected patient died on April 20 and another one on May 17.

In the last 91 days – since March 14 – the country witnessed a total of 59 deathless days in coronavirus infection, according to the DGHS, while 18 people succumbed to the virus.  The daily number of coronavirus infection cases has declined to below 1,000 on February 25, after eight weeks as 892 infection cases were reported on January 5 in the country.
