Bangladesh reported one death and 16 cases from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning, according to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The country recorded death from Covid-19 on April 20.
The daily corona infection rate remains below two percent for over 73 consecutive days. The daily infection rate has remained below four percent for last ten weeks since February 28.
The daily infection rate was reported 0.41 percent on Saturday. It was 0.79 percent on Friday, 0.60 percent on Thursday, 0.44 percent on Wednesday, 0.75 percent on Tuesday. It was 0.77 percent on Monday, 0.86 percent on Sunday, 0.55 percent on Saturday and 0.45 percent on Friday.
A total of 241 more Covid-19 patients recovered during the period, raising the total number of recoveries to 19,00,138. The total recovery rate reached 97.29 percent.
