Gold price raised by Tk 4,200 per bhori

Jewellers have raised the price of gold by Tk 4,199.04 to Tk 82,464.48 per bhori (11.664 grams) on the local market due to a price hike in the international market.

According to the new price chart of Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) effective from Sunday, the price of 22-carat gold is now Tk 7,070 per gram while it is Tk 6,750 for 21-carat gold.

The price of 18-carat gold has been fixed at Tk 5,790 per gram and that of traditional one at Tk 4,820 per gram, said a press release.

The price of silver (Rupa) will remain unchanged. The price of 22-carat silver is Tk130 per gram, 21-carat, it is Tk 123 per gram, for 18-carat silver, the price is Tk 105 per gram and Tk 80 per gram for traditional metal of its kind.

The price of 22-carat, 21-carat, and 18-carat silver is Tk130, Tk123, and Tk105 per gram, respectively. The traditional silver price is Tk80 per gram.
