CHATTOGRAM: Junior Chamber International (JCI) Chittagong held its second general members meeting (GMM) and special iftar event on Friday.

Past presidents, local president, EVP, VP, EC members, directors, treasurer and general members of JCI Chittagong Cosmopolitan attended the programmes at The Peninsula Chittagong.

At the meeting, the chapter signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with four organisations while various activities and budget for the current year were reviewed.

The executive committee also placed their future plans.

National President of JCI Bangladesh Niaz Morshed Elite and JCI Chittagong President Shaan Shahed handed over the token of appreciation awards and gifts to the best members, who have contributed to the JCI Chittagong with their dedication, efficient works and connectivity.

The chapter President Shaan Shahed presided over the function, attended among others by JCI Dhaka South President Steve D’silva and Chittagong chapter past presidents Raisul Uddin Saikat, Shihab Malek, Jashim Ahmed, Mashfiq Ahmed Rushad and Tipu Sultan Sikder.

JCI is a US-based charity organisation of young people between the ages of 18 and 40.

It is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. It has operations in more than 120 countries and more than 200,000 members worldwide.  At present, there are more than 27 local chapters of JCI in Bangladesh. Among all, JCI Chittagong is the largest and oldest one.
