Bangladesh national women’s football team will play two friendly matches against Malaysia in the next FIFA window on June 23 and 26 in Sylhet.

The team will play any international matches after a 9-month break as they last played in Asian Cup qualifiers last September.

Bangladesh Football Federation women’s wing chief Mahfuza Akter Kiron confirmed the development to the reporters on Wednesday.

“Women’s team will play SAFF and Asian Games. So, we are going to arrange international matches before that regional event. We will host the upper-ranked team Malaysia here,” Mahfuza said.
