Youth found dead

Police recovered the body of an unknown youth from the capital’s Kalabagan area early on Wednesday.

The blood-stained body of the youth, 35, in white pajama and panjabi was lying beside an under-construction building on Free School Street.

After making an inquest report, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue.

Shawkat Mia, sub-inspector of Kalabagan Police Station, said that on receiving information that a youth lying in a pool of blood in the Free School Street area, they rushed there and found him dead.

The dead body bore several injury marks on his right eye, forehead, nose and some other parts with his right hand got broken.

He said that the cause of his death can only be confirmed after an autopsy.
