CHATTOGRAM: A minor boy was killed in a road accident in the city’s Shah Amanat Bridge area on Saturday noon.
The deceased was identified as Md Adib, 07, son of late Sayem Mahmud of Chandanaish upazila in the district.
His uncle and the madrasha Director Md Shahjalal said he was turning to the madrasha to pick Adib from their village home on Saturday.
They were waiting for a CNG-run auto-rickshaw after getting down from a bus at the north side of the bridge at around 12:00noon.
A speedy and reckless mini bus ran over Adib and knocked him at that time, said Shahjalal.
