Photo exhibition ‘Shutter Light 5’ begins at LWM
Former Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan admires artworks after inaugurating a photo exhibition ‘Shutter Light – 5’ at Liberation War Museum in the capital’s Agargaon area on Monday.

A photo exhibition titled ‘Shutter Light – 5’ began at the Liberation War Museum in the capital’s Agargaon area on Monday. Help the Future (HTF) has organised the event under the slogan ‘Anticipation of a Beautiful Future’.

Former Shipping Minister and lawmaker Shahjahan Khan inaugurated the three-day photo exhibition.

With this developmental determination, HTF has organised ‘Shutter Light – 5’ for the fifth time. This year, 4500 pictures were submitted from all over the country under the theme “Climate Change and Covid Pandemic”. A total of 60 photographs have been selected for the exhibition by judges.

Among all the selected participants, a total of 6 photographers will get awards from the two groups. The awards include crest, certificate, gift box and prize money. 

Freelance photographer Pranab Ghosh and Joyeeta Trisha, Founding Member and President of Narayanganj Photography Club Joy K Roy Chowdhury and Prothom Alo Journalist Sabina Yasmin are the judges in charge of screening the photographs.

Eminent media personality and lawmaker Asaduzzaman Noor will be present at the award ceremony that is scheduled to take place on the last day of the exhibition.

The exhibition will continue till March 30.
